Who we are

The National Nuclear User Facility for Hot Robotics (NNUF-HR) is an EPSRC-funded facility based at four research partner institutions: the University of Bristol, the National Nuclear Laboratory (NNL), the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA), and the University of Manchester. How we get the personal information and why we have it

By completing the enquiry form on this website, you are consenting to us processing your name, email address and sector information to contact you about your enquiry. Your information will be emailed automatically to the relevant partner organisation (University of Bristol, University of Manchester, UKAEA RACE, or NNL) so that they can contact you directly. It will not be shared with the other partner organisations.

If you proceed to hire equipment or facilities, the relevant partner organisation will use your personal information to enter into a contract with you. The use of your information for the fulfilment of the contract will be governed by the terms of the contract and is necessary for pursuing the controller’s legitimate interests (except where overridden by the interests or rights of the data subject).

We will not sell or rent your information to any third parties.

We will not share your information with any third parties for marketing purposes.

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored by the web host Fasthosts Cloud NX server, Gloucester, England, and server back ups are also done in Gloucester.

We retain your name, email address, and a record of your sector for 1 year from the date of your enquiry via the web form. We will then dispose of your information by deleting it from the website’s enquiry log, including deleting the email generated by the web form to the relevant partner institution.

Under data protection law, you may have rights in relation to the data we hold about you, including the right of access (the right to ask us for copies of your personal information) and the right to erasure in certain circumstances.
